im the camera man in both videos. Both the cars are freaken supercars. The C6 Z06 put down 496rwhp with a tune and Air filter (not a intake) and the cammed, 125 shot, headers, exhaust C6 put down 546rwhp. We took the race up to 190-185 where we shut down. Prop's to both of them.


the Z06 ran a 11.5 @ 127 with street tires and a 2.1 60' cause of traction issues....No times on the Blue C6

The kid in the Z06 can drive anything you give to him like a pro...guy in the C6 just sucks. You can tell in the videos. He shifts way to late and he bounces off his revv limiter.

 

How do you figure either of those races was a 4-5 carlength difference. Are we watching the same video? A blue C6 against a silver Z?

 

in the night video...the kid in the blue C6 (the one im video taping from) misses every shift...thats why the Z06 hung in there like it did. In the day time, he hits every shift much better and puts 4-5 cars by 190 on the Z06...did you Not see that part??

the first run it was close, but probably because the guy in C6 didn't shift too well, but the 2nd run was right where they were suppose to be(4 cars apart) considering how much power each is making

 

huh? In the 2nd vid, the silver Z was back at least 4 cars and falling when the camera swung forwards.

 

Love seeing those daytime video's,,,,nice and clear.

I imagine the Z06 is re fitting with long tubes and maybe a cold air/re-tune as we think/speak/type.

actually the following week he went and got a vram intake, headers, cam and a dyno tune.....

he made 551rwhp and 546rwtq...they are gonna rematch maybe saturday night...so i will be back with another video i filmed.

Yea, not to be rude but WTF does day vs. night have to do with shifting? Who the F#%$ looks at their shifter, unless you're polishing it up? If he's nervous at night, then he damn sure shouldn't be driving over 60!
