I've ran Speedinjection many, many times and we were door to door; sometimes I would barely edge him out. I had longtubes and a filter. I also had a 150shot and tune (which was for the nitrous; fuel enriched and timing pulled). I figured the tune negated the gains of the longtube system. I also have chrome wheels which are noticeably heavier than the stockers. And, of course, I did not "spray" him when we ran.
He's definitely only got a Halltech filter on the car. I've also ran the same Cobras that he beat. I also beat them. They weren't bad drivers either.
Weight, gearing, and a little bit of aerodynamics...thats all it is.
Have any of you "nay sayers" owned or driven a stock C5 Z06? If not, test drive one, it may make you rethink; it is definitely shocking for a "factory" stock car.
Oh, btw, mine is an '02 Z06...the one he races during daylight in that second video that was posted.

Obviously speedinjection thinks his car is amazing,C6 trapping 109-110,maybe in extremely high altitude?
Killemall is on par with his traps. Sounds like you're racing some pretty shitty C6 drivers if you think your car is that much faster. Its a pretty even race in the 1/4, with the c5 z06 pulling hard up top 115+

Guys I need yalls help on this one, after you watch the video you will see that this "stock" z06 pulls me pretty bad and I just dynoed last weekend at 395rwhp. Can his car really be stock or what? I didn't think that he would beat me like that.

i raced a z06 with a cb, intake and short throw, at the time i had gears, stall,cb,and pulleys from a 20 roll i took it to about 80 and to 120 it had me by like 2 cars. i prob only had 320 rwhp all im saying is a 400 rwhp t/a should easily take a stock z06 by a few crs

Say what you want, a 330rwhp (if that is what you say you have) ZO6 is not going to pull like that on an almost 400rwhp f-body.

I still don't understand how the T/A lost, i doubt the Vette is stock. Im not trying to down the vette, because it is insanely fast. But to me it does not seem stock at all, something is seriously off.

Guys, we all know something is up but were not going to convince this guy. Obviously power to weight ratios and physics dont apply to his Z06, it would probably take a tt408 to edge his car out.

Your car probably makes closer to 360-370 rwhp on a dynojet.

Just as a FYI addition: My stock 2003 Z06 did 355/349 and ran a 12.3 at 117 with a 2.04 60'... Weight with a 1/4 tank and no driver was 3060lbs...
Nailing the 60' should see my car in the 11's, stock with a shifter and !CAGS. I don't race on the street though, so take it as you will.

Quick little search reveals the following power to weight ratios:
stock ZO6 - 3130 pounds, usually between 340-350rwhp, so let's use 350rwhp: 8.94 pounds per rwhp.
T/A - 3536 pounds, 395rwhp: 8.95 pounds per rwhp.
So, basically the same power to weight and the T/A gets pulled easily by at least 4 cars........ZO6 is not stock or the T/A is not putting down 395rwhp.

Yep, you sound like one of the stupid ones. Since when does a T/A weigh 4000lbs?

Your not looking at the big picture.....
what about coeficient drag ( CD.)
The Z06 is .32 while the Fbody is .37.. ( correct me if Im wrong but this is what i remember)
As well the Z06 has the M12 trannie while the Fbody has the standard 3.42 rear..
The drag advantage plus trannie differance tells me that an Fbody will need 415 rwhp to run door to door with a 02 Z06..
Realistically an Fbody will run 13.4 at 107 mph in average conditions w/ 300 rwhp
Realistically the 02 Z06 will run 12.6 at 115 mph in average conditions w/ 350 rwhp
8 mph is HUGE and a lot of realastate and the Fbody will need 100 rwhp more to equal the Z06 in the 1/4 mile..But thats just the 1/4 mile. After 130 mph the Z06 would still walk away
