Default LG Motorsports Allngn_c5 VS Lingenfelter Supercharged 07 C6

Sorry for being gone for so long but haven't had anything to post. Coming home from the gym I see this Lingenfelter Corvette (black) that I have seen a few times in my neighborhood. I whip a U turn and see that he turned into the gas station. I talked to him for a few minutes and find out that he has a Magnusson S/C and Corsa cat back. Boy could he benefit from some LG Pro Longtube headers (PLUG). At any rate his car looked great and sounded barely more then stock until he went WOT. Then it was absolutely eloquent. He didn't believe me that I had a H/C bolt on 346, he thought I had a 427 under the hood. I showed him and we decided to go for a little drive. We hit the expressway and of course there was a bunch of traffic. We took it easy and finally got a run. First run was around 55-100, cut short due to traffic, and I was reeling him in. He got the jump and pulled about 2 cars and seemed like he was maintaining them for the most part until above 80 where I was pulling him in. However I wasn't able to close the gap. On the way back we got 2 runs in, the first was 70-140 and I won by at least 4 cars. I thought he let out but after the 80-140 run that I put 4 cars on him again I was convinced that he stayed in it. He catches up and gives me the big smile and nod of approval. I nod and wave goodbye. Real nice guy. Very fast car, Flywheel numbers were 565/500+ hp/tq. I think the rear wheel numbers were something like 484 and 440 ?? He wasn't sure of the numbers other then 484 rwhp either. At any rate he lives in the area and I am looking forward to running into him again. Hopefully he takes me for a ride in that monster, and lets me take him for a ride in my toy. He said he ran 12.32 @ 124 mph (traction issues) so his numbers on the dyno and the track are very similar to mine. I ran 12.02 @ 123.6 mph on a slick track. Sorry I don't have any video but it was just happened that I didn't have my camera or tripod with me. Maybe I can get him to run me in the spring and I will get it on video.

Wow, I am surprised to see responses so quickly. Thanks fellas.

I really hope to run this guy in the spring. I hope he takes my advice and orders the LG Pro Longtube headers. It will make a big difference. Stock exhaust just doesn't cut it.

I know bro. I have posted so many vids in the past, and unfortunately I didn't have my camera. Keep your fingers crossed. On a side note, if he does the LG Pro Longtube headers like I suggested, I won't have a chance. LOL.

Nice work.

Sounds like your top-end is killer with that setup.

Very good runs! Those LS2's are nasty with some boost! Nothing cooler than rolling up on a car that looks stock and then finding out it's straight up badass.

You are correct sir. I believe the top end on my car is a lot more impressive then my 1/4 mile times and 123.6 mph trap would lead you to believe. Been over 200 mph on a few occasions this year. Lasered at 203.7 mph courtesy of a local Police officer doing radar at 1:30 am a few months back.

Damnit thats cookin'. I didnt think your body style with that power would get there. How does the car do at that speed? Meaning do you get any weird vibration or resonance noises. I have been in some cars that get loud and sketchy at speed and others that dont.

Good kills Doug! You're gonna have to explain the 203.7mph radar thing, shouldn't you be in jail?

Whats up pitbull .....

As far as the capabilities of my car and power levels, its all true. Buried the speedo a couple of times, and had my doubts but after being picked up on LASER radar at over 200 I think thats verification enough. EDIT After LGM lowered the car and I went with a taller tire 200 mph became easier and is surprisingly stable.

As far as being in jail, no I haven't been in jail just a little busier then usual. That 200+ mph pass was at 130 am when I out ran a couple of gsxr 1100's. Believe me, all parties involved were shocked. Don't want to forget, the best part of the story is that I ran into the Cop that stopped me the next day at the grocery store. He lives in my area, must've know the car probably seen me in uniform. That would explain why he never asked for my ID.
