Default LS1 Z28 vs Saleen

I was heading home from work today on I-40 and I see this 96-98 Gt getting on the interstate. It had Saleen ground effects but the paint was too gay to be a real one. I thought it would be a good race so when I got beside him I bumped the throttle to let him know I was game. I pulled in front of him so he would have to pass me back. When he did he got two cars ahead of me then hit his brakes quickly. I knew it was on so I downshifted to 5th and pulled beside him. When I looked over his passenger smiled while he flicked his cigarette. I downshifted to 4th and waited for him. He nailed it so I kicked it as well. I pulled a car on him so quickly I let out and got back in it. He still hadn't caught me so I let out again to let him beside me. He was still in the gas so I hit it again to pull ahead of him. When he could see my taillights I hit the brakes and let him fly by. He didn't slow down again. It was an easy kill and prolly shouldn't have picked on him but what the hell. It had to be stock as slow as it was. We were only running between 55-80 the whole time. I was just toying with him so I knew he had to be pissed when I got in and out of the gas a couple times.

Nice kill.

Could have been an S281. (GT with Saleen appearance package).

whatever it was it was slow as hell...I saw Saleen and thought that would atleast make it interesting. If I was him I wouldn't have even made the effort if I couldn't do any better than that...maybe he took some notes.

You assumed a 96 2 valve gt MIGHT be a good race? I always assume they're slow. But there is always the exception.
