So I went to the street races on a Friday a couple of weeks ago because some kid I saw on the street said his buddys 04 Mustang GT convertable with a supercharger could smoke me because it ran "11's". I figured it could be a good race. So I told him to meet me there that night but as usuall he didn't show. I was talking to my buddy with a 98 cobra with a KB supercharger about that mustang GT and he knew who he was. He told me the best that car has gone was a low 13. I would have smoked him. Then some kid in a civic was hatch asking about my car and if I wanted to race for fun. I said "are you kidding!!" Then he wanted to race for $20. He said he had a B18 with cams and a header and other stuff. Still didnt want to race him. It was getting late so I took off and guess who wanted to follow me. I said **** it once we got on the freeway we went from a 2nd gear roll and I pulled him by like 10 car lengths. It was funny.

Nice kill. I would have raced him anyways just for the hell of it. Worst case scenario he's not telling you something and he has a fast car. Or you just smash him. Either way it's fun. Too bad the Mustang didn't show.

Another funny thing is that when I rejected his offer for $20 he wanted me to race his buddy's integra for $100. "My friend has a friend whos dad's brother has a fast car." We've all heard that before.

Depends on the B18... my '94 GS-R was running with pre-99 GTs, and beat a couple. And not "they should have won" victories either

I guess that civic ran a 13.3 at the track. But I think he was on slicks. Pretty damn good for a civic.
