Default Will be racing my friends Turbo honda

He makes 290hp and 190tq in a 2000 civic si, i think they weigh around 2800lbs
Im in a 00 z28 stripper with nitrous making 436hp and 460tq on 100 shot.

I believe i'll eat him alive, or should i throw in the 125 pills to finalize the deal. I finally got my 315 drag radials so i'll have traction now. I just wanna know what you guy think will happen ( and how much i should bet him )

You'll beat him. If you weren't spraying, I don't know then... and they weigh around 2,700lbs if I remember correctly.

Hmmm, a fwd drive car on street tires that might run 108mph trap speeds vs. a modded LS1 on DRs...hmmm. ooh, ooh, Mr. Kotter! Pick me, pick me!

a 00 Si with a B16 boosted making 290whp, is gonna clear 110 traps. those cars usually wiegh in around 2600lbs. but with a 450whp LS1, youre gonna kill him. without nitrous.

You're looking at a mid 12s Honda on slicks, if you run him from a roll consider 112-114 traps.

I don't see you having a problem with him.

Before you start talking about weight you have to consider, a key fact to modifing Hondas are to remove as much as you can. So he could weigh even less. Do you know anything else about his setup? Size turbo? Stock motor? Did you actually see the dyno sheets? It could be possible he's under rating his car. I'd say go all out and don't take any chances. Personally, I don't know how the Honda scene is where you are, but I know in Jersey, no one tell you what they got, you gotta find out the hard way....

Agreed, why not just post the outcome?
It'll be as good as You need to figure in lag and its a four cylinder. I'd like to see the race in stock trim. That would be a decent race, with a chance of loosing.

The whole NJ/NY street racing crowd is pretty ******* brutal in general, let me tell you about how i found out how fast a stage 3 Audi S4 is, cost me some money to learn that lesson lol.
