The fastest stock LS1 run I have ever seen documented was Evan Smiths 12.89 run. I have heard 03/04 Cobras have hit 12.4 in stock trim so don't even go there. As much as I love LS1's we lose the stock vs stock debate with SVT Cobras.

hey i can tell you right now, your either a ford man or your a chevrolet man, there is no in between ****, oops i lost a few dollars so i have to get a ford for now, no thats bullshit i came from the hardcore die hard chevrolet men that said i'll never own a ford. i would rather drive a chevette than drive a mustang. thanks. it's got your basic bolt ons with longtubes. never been pullied. but here in ma were in the dead middle of winter so i picked it up and it will sit till spring time. but before it comes out it will be pullied, tuned with some new drag radials and hopefully a solid rear. i did some driving with it yesterday (day i picked it up) becasue it was about 50-55 degrees out and we had some rain over the week to get rid of some salt and sand. i dont think i can deal with the irs wheel hop sucks i can only imagine trying to launch the car at the track. i got some questions about the solid swap is it ok to send you a pm?
