1. Get off your ******* high-horse. The LSx series is a damn good engine but by no means the end-all.
2. The '03-'04 aka Terminator Cobra's ARE better than their LS1 competition in (arguably) every field.

im on no high horse and i know anything can be beaten. i actually really like f-bodys i just dont happen to own one. but people like you give f-body guys a bad name. a lot of my friends have f bodys and everyone of them is faster than my gt was and my cobra is. i am on this site to educate myself, give some not so norrow minded gm fans input on fords and to have some fun. everyone on here is a car enthusiast and most respect all brands and makes. thats that. and seriously this site would be pretty boring if there werent ford/mopar and import owners on here to stir up some controversy.

The 13.09 run was on cold and balding Nitto 555's (not even the 555r's) and I broke the stock 7.5" rear with those on the very next pass! getting a built 8.8" and some MT ET Streets and a little giggle gas to go with it . And the reason my trap was so low was because I bounced the limiter in 3rd like 30 ft from the end of the track (stock limiter is 6000-6100 never really paid attention). Sad thing is, I make peak power at 5200 RPM

Yea their better than a LS1 considering the fact that they were produced after they stopped production of the Camaro and Trans AM, so there were no rival's for the supercharged Cobra of 03 and 04 as far as pony cars but there was the Z06 which was faster than the Cobra's.

 

That's a bad argument IMO. The C5 was much closer to the price range of a 03 Cobra then the Z06 was. And stock for stock the Cobras were a tad quicker then the C5's.

I'm not happy about it but I'm not blind to the facts either.
