Yea this is my first call out. Dont sleep on that 305, people dont believe its a 305 when they see it run or they get their *** handed to them. They never want to pay up either. I allways get the (That's not a ******* 305 in that car, No way. A 305 dont sound like that or run like that!) All the time.

I think LT1's are slow because I think LT1's are slow.
1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 5.7 14.2
The 5.7 = 0-60 time, and 14.2 in the 1/4..
Here is the new edge GT
2005 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L V8 5.1 13.5 (MT Jan 05)
They are faster stock for stock, and he had more mods, go figure....
The most famous phrase in this section is...........
Anything can happen on the street

Yep, stock ls1's run 13.8 if they are lucky...so there..and with a tail wind!
And I would rather quote magazines that have actually run a car on the strip wiith a somewhat good driver behind the wheel than some of these tool bags just doing rolls on the highway.....and guessing what they run, guessing what they would do if there ever saw a dyno...
SOME of you guys are too funny, some of you guys know your ****...
you know who you are, I don't need to spell it out..

Um... Motor Trend ran a 13.6 in an AUTOMATIC '05 GT when they first came out. 5spds are good for a tenth or three better than that with the right conditions/driver
