So last night i was out with the car club waiting to race a Turboed CRX, but due to a miscommunication he didnt come out...So instead one of the guys called a friend with a supposed stock 360R Roush, but before he gets there ive heard is been geared and pullied, and then when i he gets there i hear that plus spraybar kit...but he says its emtpy, and i wanted me in my Bolt on Geared formula to run him from his roll, and me on motor as opposed to me spraying a 125 shot because is bottle was "empty" so any wayz i go from his roll 40 which leaves me about 1100rpms b4 i have to shift to 3rd...

So...I agree to the motor thing but but i still flip the switch hehe since i was pretty sure he was full of ****...

So we hit it from 40 i instantly break lose at around 45 short shift 3rd and the rpms drop to 3k or so and it quickly climbs back up and im a car ahead at this point...and maybe gain another half car by 105 when i shift to 5th where he gets that half car bak and i hold the car until 120 where i let off...

So what do u guys think he says he only makes 300w/o spray and thats what i make and hes in a heavy *** roush and im in a stripper formula, that says i should beat him on motor if he was truthfull, so do u think the his bottle was full and this race sounds right for a pullied/Spray bar roush?

Hmmm, nice kill either way. Sounds like whatever he was running, your setup was just enough to take the win, so good call on running the spray, although I would have asked him to take the bottle out if it was empty anyways. Simple solution so you know for sure.

I'll have to read up about these cars.

BTW, what do you make on motor and on spray?

OK, they're rated 360/375 at the flywheel, so 300 to the rear wheels is probably fairly accurate; he might be making a little more than that on motor. We need to know what you were making on motor and on spray to guess if he was spraying.

prolly 300rwhp/330rwtq motor and 400rwhp 475+rwtq spray...
but like i said i hear it was pullied as well im assuming its around 350rwhp on motor...

That's from a review of a 2002 360R. Did they make them multiple years? Sounds like he was either an AWESOME driver or he was spraying if you make about 400rwhp with the spray and he kept up like that. Maybe he had it armed and flipped the switch when you start pulling ahead.

im pretty sure its just a spray BAR kit, hes a good driver, but everyone around here knows i can row gears with the best of them

im sure he did the whole time, becuase i told him i wasnt going to and he was gonna try to smoke me *** because he cant do it in his own car, so he drove someone elses(the 360r) but i knew better because i know the guy and its a good think i sprayed or he would have walked my ***....because im like 100 percent sure i can run dead even with a stock 360r...so i know he sprayed the whole time...

You are lucky he did not spray, and yes, all motor includes the blower if it came with it from the factory.

If he was pullied AND geared, he would pull you on motor. But honestly I can't decipher the story well enough to understand. I would *think* that if he was pullied/geared AND he sprayed, that would be more than enough to beat you on spray. But who knows.

I agree, for him to even keep up as well as he did (if you want to call it that) he would have to have sprayed a shot on top of a pulley'd blower. On blower alone even with a pulley I doubt if he makes over 360RWHP.

idk what it is, i just hang out with a coupld of 04 cobras the whipples/kbs that have spray bars, i just figured that when he said he had n20 thats what he meant, idk anything about roushs other then stock hp ratings... i didnt think a roush motor could take a blower and spray thats why i figured it was a bar kit...

Cliffnotes Bolt on 125 Shot Formula vs "stock"(BS) 360r with spray...I spin of the hit and short shift 3rd and pull 1-1.5 cars by 115ish
