LS1 Transam Heads/Cam/Stall (camera Car)
Srt4 20lbs boost
LT1 Camaro Cam/Sprayed (problems with N2O as you will hear)

Yeah the LT1 sounded a little rough there at times.

 

Looks like a lot of fun. I wish we could run around here like that w/o having to worry about cops. What were the mustangs mods(besides the driver mod)?...looks like he stayed with you guys pretty good.

 

Full Bolt ons and Spray(unknown shot) Car runs really good though.

Hey guys, I'm the H/C LS1. That damned skittle is fast as hell. I'm putting down about 400rwhp and he still pulled me. He is a cool guy though. Maybe I just need to get a bigger cam or some spray of my own.

 

that srt must have bsd yall cause i was runnin e/i/wastegate &19psi on mine and made about 270fwhp. it would take about 340fwhp for him to pull you like that. good runs and stout cars

 

I also forgot to mention I had about 380 LBS worth of passengers with me at the time. So the skittle was about 800-1000 lbs lighter than me during the runs.

 

Thats how it always works out for me. I almost always have passengers. Gonna start charging a fee...

 

What was all the racket coming from the LT1 car?

 

yeop....could have been e1,e2,sst, **** he could have been stage 3 on or off HOM....but 380lbs worth of passengers is alot. Good runs

 

He was having problems on the spray and was detonating really bad in the upper RPMs. He is gonna change the plugs and drop the shot size to see if that cures the problems.

 

do you have a decent tune on your car? your hp numbers seem to be about right, but your e/t and traps don't really seem to be what i would expect on a h/c car.

going based off your traps i'd say the race went about how it should have, srt-4s with a decent mods are gonna be trapping pretty high.

Yea coming from mine, Had to change the plugs lol As an LT1 guy you know how fun that is lol

 

Those times were with the stock 130,000 mile transmission and torque converter. The races were with the new trans and 3600 stall.

 

Man I hope those plugs fixed your problems. Are you still gonna drop the shot down to a 75?

 

I like your heads and cam setup. But i ran a 12.87 with just longtubes.

 

Holy blast from the past. And I ran over a full second faster with my heads and cam. 11.79 to be exact. Oh and I have sold that car and bought an FRC vette and ran a 12.99 going from third to second with only bolt ons.
