I'm surprised the Goat was able to gain that ground back. I figured the Cobra would have identical power and possibly a little more torque. Looked like it just fell on its face after a good launch.

lol, speak for yourself bro and stop giving those who can drive a bad name.
and who gives a **** if the car had stock goodyears or not when they pulled a 1.8 60', for all it matters you're running 1/4 mile, run what you brung and how you brung enough. if you want to know how this cars can hook on stock tires keep trying until you can pull at least a 2.0, it's not that difficult at all, **** i have around 430rwhp and my car runs 12.4's all day with the stock bfg 245's on lousy 2.01 60's. if i can pull 2.01 with 400rwtq, you should be able to do so with a stock car.

i agree. one of my friends has a ls2 gto and its rediculous when u look at how narrow the rear tires are.

+1. i love racing my friends ls2 gto from a dig. his only mods are catback exhaust. on most of our dig races i had roughly 2 car lengths on him by the time i hit 4th. hes beat me twice though. its a totally different story when we race from a roll. on the third honk he always gets a full llength jump on me and then i slowly start pulling up and walk away. those cars are damn impressive for how heavy they are.
