smack talkin in a K20 Hatch
Ok so this rival has been going on for about 5 years. Started back in Highschool when this kid had a 93 stock hatchback and wanted to race my Z28. But anyways this kid now has a K20a2 in his hatch and it still has most of the interior. I havent rode in it but a few of my buddies have and they said it was all that great. He called out my friend with a 06 GTO and said he would kill him from any roll and a dig. So he calls me because i tear his *** up all day long when we race. SO i am just wondering if anyone had any opinions on how the race will come out to..he is kinda stupid so im guessing he will want to race me from a dig. And its a stock k20

my buddy has one in a hatch with bolt ons, AEM, and a direct port 75 shot. it goes 11.90's on the track on full slicks.. you just cant replicate that on the street with FWD's. they are junk lol

I am racing him with the LS1. All i got done is PS LTs, TSP Turndown without cats. Ported throttle body and a tune. Ran the car a few times this year and kept it in the 12s on street tires....I told him that i wanted to race at the track so it can be legit or however you spell it. i know he wants to do it on the road which is cool, but i got 10 points on my license so i am kinda iffy on street racing to much

6k to swap a motor into a honduh? your seriously behind the times my friend, it can be done MUCH cheaper (i looked into building a honda, most they ever wanted was 1.5k for labor and that was high) and FOR FREE in most driveways. all in all it would cost 4k to swap if you did it on a buget.
and whats wrong with running thirteens on a stock motor? last time i checked ls1s run that with four more cylinders so doing it with half, even if it only runs say a 13.4 at best, is still pretty impressive for a N/A four banger.
im sorry but i cant stand your ignorance ONEBADASSWS6 if you check my previous posts before you got banned, youll see we never got along.

Hmm lets see...3450lb LS1 vs 3450lb K20. The Honda would probably stall out on the launch from having the weight of a real car and no torque

You're referring to swapping in a B series engine. Swapping a K series into a hatch requires expensive mounts, harnesses, and all kinds of other extras.

By stupid fast I mean, times an N/A 2.0L engine shouldn't be running.
Heck, a buddy of mine cracked a 9.85 on his old single cam 1.6L setup. Same friend is building a 1200+whp setup now (still Honda btw).
In this day and age you just can't write off any kind of car anymore, you're liable to get burnt.
