I dont know about tune but i have beaten a catback / intake z06s with my pullied cobra. also yeah cobra has more power but it also weighs way more.

P.S. this thread is already ruined but at least, point proven pullied cobra > stock c5 z06.

Lol his car was nice though, that upgraded intercooler/Heatexchanger made the car look hella aggressive.

i dont wanna take away from this great race; however i when i drove an 02 z06 it was bone stock, it honestly didnt feel very fast at all. It was to the point where it felt like something was wrong, so i drove an 04 z06 and the same thing, all i know is my pullied cobra felt alot faster than the z06's that i have drove hell even my Z28 felt faster although it had bolt ons and spray. so i guess to me it wasnt surprising that the cobra won. although it was a vert but it also had aprox 89-90 more horse.

you sure about that? what if he had 90.5 more hp? 89-90 more horse is a very narrow margin. . . but maybe thats just me.

Yea, i'm a little late in this thread and with this quote, but I tell my friends the same thing about my WS6. Having the headlights up in a race that goes beyond 100mph is like having two parachutes on the front of your car. Of course, they poke fun at me saying headlights up makes no difference whatsoever. I disagree. Not taking anything away from the race. Great runs and glad you are all still safe and ticket free .

I had the same thing happen to me when I test drove an 05 Mustang GT. I was so sure the V8 in it would throw me to my seat. But it didn't at all. I was bummed to cause I had my heart set on a black 05. I left the dealer thinking maybe my expectations where to high. I had an 02 Z06 and I thought it was very fast. 0-100 in 9.5 is fast I don't care how it feels.
This is not an attack on mustangs..just pointing out how cars feel.

I TOTALLY AGREE, when i have my head lights up i can tell it drags a little on the car plus you can hear the wind shooting by them once you are past 100 mph.

I think he had about 100whp more, that what we were going for at least. He put down 450whp so....

I'm suppose to get dynoed this weekend, so we'll know exactly what it puts down, I'm hoping for 350whp.
