I finally saw one of those new SRT Calibers out on the road today, still had paper tags on it. It was an orange metallic color, looked much nicer than the neon crapboxes that it replaced.

Anyways, we were turning left from HWY 6, headed westbound on I-10 and he was in front of me. When he made the corner, he took off, so I gradually accelerated and caught up. My lane opened, and I heard him gun it when I moved into the lane next to his, so I just walked on past him by several car lengths.

I was in the deadly silent orange '06 GTO (twin-turbos 550 rwhp). He probably thought it would be a better run

Oh well, fun times. The Caliber at least looked kind of nice.

IMO they look even worse than the old Neons. IDK what Crystler was thinking there, or with the Nitro for that matter. Why they dont build the Razor concept or something like it instead is beyond me.

Good kill I guess. Kinda like useing a shotgun on a butterfly though LOL. I have to say, nice sleeper if a stock Caliber thought he had a chance.

I am going to have to disagree that calibers look better than neons. I think the caliber is way uglier.

Yeah I don't know what dodge was thinking with that caliber. Why did they do away with dumdumdumdumdum neon? I thought they were selling pretty well. I seen all sorts of them everywhere.

I test drove one...even with all the torque management equipment, it had torque steer like a over powered FWD car should

Nice one Tony! You know that he thought he was running a stock GTO.

Tony has one of my favorite kills. It's classic. I think he was in
the car below. He posted a kill against a modified Civic I believe.
The guy who was driving the Civic saw the thread and posted in
it.

Its nots that we think the Neon looks good. Its the fact that the Caliber takes the ugly factor to a whole different level.
