With the A4 car I would out launch him and he would come around me at about 115-120. If he launched with me he would come around me quickly. The race was won at the launch in other words. Cliff notes: The GTO was faster, the A4 car launched better. = drivers race
With the M6 full bolt on car I would outlaunch him (as I said, no wheel hop) and I got him by about 1-1.5 cars by the time we shut down. Cliff notes: The GTO and full bolt on M6 TA were evenly matched.
Explain how this doesn't make sense.

I don't think they have a "bone stock" list here, but they have a bolt-on, stock longblock list that compares very favorably to the last list in your post.

Best stock LS2 GTO time was 12.8.
This could be why I was, and am now still confused. 1.3 seconds is not 1-1.5 cars.

it's about weight and traction, and that's why i'd never argue over who has the biggest advantage at the track, with the average mods and rear ends on both vehicles, the Goat can hold its own against most fbodies at the track/street. once you get serious about weight reduction and suspension mods, the fbody have a huge heads up start, and that gap is bigger and bigger when you compare the old fbody platform with most of the new muscle cars out there that weight 4000+ lbs...

I raced a stock gto 6.0 when I was stock and I had an auto w/ 2.73 I lost by about 1 car, from a 50 roll, a 40 roll and a 60 roll.
I saw him again, now swapped with a built 6 speed, 4.10 gears, lid, cutout, 17" 315 wide rims instead of 20's and I lost by 3 cars.... ****** had big cam and heads hahahaha
But on the other hand I raced a 5.7 gto and I left him in the dust by like 2 cars

I disagree. I've seen a '02 Camaro Z28 and Trans Am go down at 80+ to a LS2 GTO 6spd. It's close through 3rd but in 4th hang it up the LS2 breaths and pulls better up top. Most drag races are close because the F-bod is easier to launch and some Goat driver's don't drive good enough to make up the difference.

I have seen GTO's post faster times and the track then Fbodys but lose on street races .... driver race
Anything can happen on the streets.... crazy world .lol

stock for stock , from a dig f-body. from a roll gto. add some suspenison mods a little more even. you cannot say the gto was stock all i had was a lid cut outs and so on. that is not factory stock. i like both cars and don't trash talk other cars. when i was stock i won some and lost some races with f-bodies. it is all in the family even though it is disfunctional at times. lol
