You are stating best times achieved. How many times do you actually see a car driven to it's full potential, especially on street tires? There is no way an average every day bolt on LS1 is running 11's without a cam or some other power adder.

You can internet race all day, it was a BONE STOCK 05 GTO M6 racing a FULL BOLT-ON 98 Trans Am M6, both on street tires (Yokohama AVS ES100 TA, G-Force KDWS GTO) on the street. Never ran my car at the track, but if I had to guess it would have run high 12's, low 13's. I am not explaining why I didn't run my car, it wasn't due to lack of trying, lol.

Almost every stock LS2 GTO I have seen run at the track ran about the same.

I can feel a top end gain and a midrange torque gain. I only went with them because i could get them for so cheap.

the gto that coy raced is mine and thats exactly what happened a car to a car and a half in his favor.he would get out on me car to a car and a half and thats what it stayed at i couldnt reel him in and he couldnt open the gap.

Settle down, sweetheart. I'm not trying to **** you off.. it just seemed far fetched to me. Only 8 stock GTOs in the sub-13s yet 50 bolt-on F-bodies sub-11.8? Stock f-bodies have broken into the 12s.. I just figured full bolt-ons would do a little more than that. It was more inquisition than calling bullshit on you.

LOL I can just imagine if you take this over to the GTO forums you will get alot of bullshit about there cars and howq quick they are. I remember 1 guy at a car show with a bone stock 05auto gto saying his should trap around 108mph or s. Lets just say I pulled him and he didnt pull me and at the time I only trapped 104

Did you have any mods?? I've seen a LS2 GTO A4 with only Lingenfelter cai run a 13.1 at 105. The all-time best stock time I've heard of a LS2 GTO A4 is 12.9 at 108 in 49 degree up in Chi-Town. All they did is take air outta tires and jake/spare.

Most of those cars are on a diet, most of those cars are cutting 1.5's 60's, most of those cars won't even be able to take a slow corner because of wheels/tires and suspension setups., hard to think a a regular full exhaust, geared fbody running mid 11's with nothing but nitto DR's, heck even with MT's, 3200-3300lbs with good traction, suspension and full bolt-ons, mid 11's are possible. hard to think you race one of those at every corner doesn't it.... heck, who needs a cam when you can run mid 11's with full exhaust and gears alone

My point was the huge disparity.. not that every bolt-on f-body runs 11s. 8 stock GTOs in the 12s.. stock f-bodies have broken into the 12s. Shouldn't that make them about even stock for stock? Then throw on lid, exhaust, headers, intake, UD pulley, throttlebody, and it turns it into a mere 1 car-length victory?

Blue Goat----I am talking TRP Tulsa Raceway Park. Goats around here can't get out of thier own way. I have seen several cammed GTO's that look as though they could be and sound it too. But when it comes to actual performance..................

3 GTOs have been my closest races. I've beaten 5+ LS1 Fbodies. From a roll, it's the LS2 GTO advantage.
