Default Minor bolton LT1 kills cobra!!!

Ok so i was in my firends 95 lt1 camaro a4 yesterday after work and we were just riding down a road when a cobra pulls up next to him reving up and getting on his car a bit. At first my firend didnt wanna run him but he was like whatever, the road was clear btw. so we slow down and get off at a gas station and we talk to the guy and ask him if we can do it from a dig, he said sure whatever. so we go out to the road and we honk it off we go to about 130 and we were even with the cobra till about 100 then we pull like a car on him and shutdown about 130 or so.

camaro has 3.73's, 3000 stall??, CAI, TB bypass, 555R's DR, and stock exhaust with no cats

cobra was a ford.

+1 to what everyone else has said. I can see outlaunching him maybe, but even at 100 and then pulling? Did he let off at 100?

This is what I think generally happens.

It could have been a 99 or 01 cobra. They look "similar" to the untrained eye. A Cobra enthusiast of course can spout off a ton of differences, including visual. Back bumper/front bumper/hood/wing to name a few.

One thing you can't bullshit, is the blower whine.

So if you were winning, you should have heard his blower crying like crazy.

Maybe it was a V6 clone

lol

i wouldnt say all that....not everyone in here is a Ford guy..

Numbers dont lie, and a basically stock LT1 can't hang with a completely stock Cobra, let alone one with mods (not saying this Cobra had mods, but most nowadays have some sort of mod)

From a roll my Bolt on LS1 T/A was a good even race with a Stock 03 Cobra, with the Cobra pulling very slightly as speeds increased.

I don't see how a basicly stock LT1 car would pull a full car after 100.

My 94 with a stall 3.42 gears, dynomax muffler, a CAI went 13.7 - 13.8 @101 -102

There is no way this LT1 car could have done this unless the Cobra let off
