Default dodge diesel truck

havent been able to find any good close runs so i figured id post this...on my way home after a 12hr shift and stopped at a light. A clean looking 2006ish white dodge diesel comes like flying around the corner taking a left and tearing through traffic. It had a 3 in lift on it, exhaust, chipped, and im sure some other mods. So the light turns green and i start catching up, hes going about 60 now, the speed limit is 55. as i pull up next to him in third he punches it and takes off faster then i expected, i could hear some loud blowoff valves as it shifted, sounded nice. So at the instant he starts to go i nail it. He pulled his passenger door to my front bumper and then about 2 seconds later i caught up and started walking away. Im sure from lower speeds it would have been funner. The truck moved out for its size tho and the blow offs and turbos sounded nice and loud

Nice. Diesels dont have blow-off valves. No throttle plate. What you heard was turbo stall. My truck is loud when I let off at high psi too.

Those diesel's are getting fast, guys are unlocking tons of potential out of them. I fear the day when one beats me.

Thats right, just a chip or a programer alone can add around 150 hp!!
Just imagine if cummins put a turbo diesel in the charger/challengers.
