By the time you have that Cobra running, i'll have a 800hp car, so you shouldn't have much to offer. My DD against you DD? Where does that make sense? A stock 4 banger with 170hp vs a Turbo 5.0 mustang. You said you have never been defeated by an LS1, well race one with some ***** in your turbo car(if its still running), and we'll see if you can still make the same claim afterwards. I have been waiting over 6 months to race this cobra of yours but haven't seen anything yet.

my reply was meant to be taken lightly and in regaurgs for a stock to stock comparison. i am well aware what a ls1 can do in the right hands. but the fanboys that come on here and think they are the cats *** because they have gone 13.5 make me laugh.

Thats a nice MPH, you need more traction, but still claiming you have never been beat by a ls1 and you run 12flat or so just means you have raced and well put together ls1 cars. I make claims like i never lost to a pre03 bolt on stang but i will admit i have lost to some built or semi built stangs, even in my supra which made a pass of 11.09 before they told me i cant run without a cage.

I know - these guys talk about stock machs running low 13's. Maybe time just moves faster around west Texas / east NM
. Stock mach would be lucky to be in the 13's out here. Never realized just how much altitude had to do with how fast your times are.
Time moving faster? Surely not cars moving slower - Texas Speed is in driving distance so there are more professionally built LS1 BEASTS here than anywhere else ive been.
A bolt on Terminator will only run 12.3-5 out here. Stock LS1's are flat 14's and bolt on LS1's in the 13.3-5.
And Roy, the f-bod crew is starting off the year with a cruise/get together this weekend - expect a call friday or saturday. (koombaya and smores and ****, ya know)

I've heard of most mach's going into the 13's in stock form on these websites and I've heard of the f body's going into the 13's but ppl dont know how much the air in west texas sucks....how much does it suck about half a second or a full second off your et's. Now in Dallas it's different story even 4 hours away the air is way better there. Ofcourse with good drivers
Hey Matt i know a guy that has a cobra that is capable of running mid 12's
His name is chris the cobra is the color changing one i can't remember the name of the color

Lol, there is probably a couple that can beat you though, there is always something faster, a coupel days ago i pull into a gas station, i see a thunderbird with some huge *** tires, the car is tubbed. So i go to take a look as he is looking at some oil lines, what do i see but a f3 supercharger which BTW is the biggest FI unit i have ever seen in person lol. The guy tells me he has a 600CI big block with the F3 charger it makes 1700rwhp on 93 octane gas. Ran a 7.35 on pump gas, he has a dry ice box bolted to the roll cage where his pasasenger seat used to be, with a 5inch pipe coming through the firewall to cool the air before it enters the engine. Im sure he can say he hasnt been beat by a ls1 car lol
