Anyone from connecticut w/ a black SS make a pass on route 8 today?? Hello all... Just wondering if there was a member on this forum that was raced a foxbody/ws6 on route 8 today.
I was the owner of the fox, and my boy in the black WS6 was interested in the mods on your car. He has lid/catback and this was his first race in the car.
We were going onto route 8 and there was a black SS w/ a catback at least in the straight lane that waited for us to go onto the highway and cut to the left and followed us. I cut a lane to the right to get a 3 way going and my boy left first in the ws6 the camaro followed suite, then I followed the camaro.. My lane ended a little ways ahead but both me and my friend were wondering what what you had done because from what it looked like in my mirror was that you covered the 2-3 car deficit my boy left with when you gave the hit to him. He said when he shut down you pretty much caught him. But you ducked off the exit before we could get a rematch, hehe.

Wasnt the most organized race I ever played a role in lol. I honked off 3 but I dont think the driver of the SS could hear it over us going 3 wide. I got the jump but the SS stopped my pull quick. Once he was on his way past me I shut it down. I couldnt go too ballz to the wall with my bosses repair plate on the car. Im curious whats done to the car, it runs good.

LOL... small world you'll have to wait till next sunday to have your turn. Im busy this weekend all weekend but if the weather holds for the sunday after this then we can finally get that video we've been planning.

I should have stuck with you last Sunday Dan, that would have been fun to be a part of. I would have lost to all 3 of you though.
