Mods in sig. was running off bottle.

Long story short, driving home I ran into a black charger at a stop light. Light turns Green he punches it (wasnt intending on racing) he gets about half car jump before i hit (no tire spin for some reason) i catch, and leave him. had about 2 cars by the time i shut down around 70...I thought these were faster then that?????

Same day, only at night driving to walmart some punk tailgates me for awhile. Pulls next to me and punches it (ricer fly-by style) I see M5 on his fender and think sweet haha. So we get a red light and i foot brake it, soon as it turns green i launched on him, had around 1/2 car lead and held it there, he started to creep to my front fender and stop (ran out of top end????) i held that lead til 140 then i said f-this ive won.

So all in all, im glad my Falkens had some bit left in them that night haha.

the srt8's run a low 13, just like the fbodys, so if yours was modded like you say then i could see you taking him.

 

That's a big lead by 70mph vs. an SRT-8 - gotta wonder if he was manually shifting or had ESP fully on. Nice kill which leads me to the M5 - similar performing car as the SRT-8 as well. Nice kill x2!

You also may have a very strong car - any dyno/track #s?

 

I bought the car off a member here. That quickest he ran it on street tires was 12.96, dyno'd 29X i think he said.

Its a solid stock street car.

 

Hmm..what Deuuuce said, SRT8 is a dead heat race (most times they have a good launch advantage from what I've heard)... Lid/Cutout would give you some edge but sounds like you pulled a bit more than I would have expected.

The M5 race sounds about dead on though...

Good kills but with a 2 car win by 70mph, I would wonder if it was an R/T since you guys should be neck and neck (in a perfect world) if yours runs high 12's. My 300 SRT8 is quicker then my bolt on 02 SS (SOLD) and more so off the line.

Real mature... you realize that new M5s hit 190mph+ right? I'm not the only one that questions his defeat of one. However, there is a "normal driving" mode where the computer limits the car to ~400hp. In which case it would make it more realistic.

 

I'm sure you held off a 500hp M5 capable of right at 200mph.

 

I can believe an M3.....M5 though....lol whatever

 

I could believe a E46 M3...or an older model M5 but not the new one.

 

I raced an 06 M5 with my Cobra (pullied/bolt-on before the KB) and the bitch was at my door the entire time. The guy you ran was in normal mode. Ive seen them trap 116 as well. Hell of a car actually!

 

Even in "normal mode" it's still 100hp difference here I'm I the only one that sees this as I have seen an M5 at the track lose to a C6 ZO6 by a c%$t hair. I don't buy it

 

It's still ~3800lbs... the 400hp mode would put in right around stock/stock-ish LS1 territory, me thinks.
