Default C5 Z06 got a surprise by 99 FRC

Went to Walmart with the wife........I always drive the vette to Walmart

I pulled up to a stop sign to make a left turn and some guy in his blue C5 Z06 stops on the driver side of me and yells out the passenger window, with his g/F in tow he yells at me asking if mine was a Z06. I tell him its an 99 FRC and he looks at me like what the hell am i talking about. I make my right turn and he follows behind me and pulls in the other lane. I notice that his front jumps so I figure what the **** so I jump on it. I instantly stop his pull and by the time I hit 90 mph I had about 3 car lenghts on him. So I need to make a left turn ahead so I am hoping he follows me but he turns right and doesn't even glance over to me and give the old vette "Wave" I bet he is still wondering what the hell is a FRC ...........

Typical over 50 vette owner

The last time Senergy dyno'ed it with shortie headers 410 to the wheels and 398 torque.....since than I add the LG pro long tudes and the 3:90 gears. When Rick install the headers his dyno was down........so your guess is as good as mine.......Someone local buy your FRC?

Not sure if you're serious or just joking, but what the heck, in case you're not joking, it means Fixed Roof Coupe. Offered in 1999 and 2000, only in a 6-speed. Same car as the regular coupes, just looks 100% better than the hatches!!! I'm a ford guy mostly, but I love anything fast, so correct me if I'm wrong anyone...

Oh I wasnt aware, not up to date with the vette lingo. I agree they do look better than the vert or removable top vettes.
