Oh I am sorry, it is a GT, my bad. But he answered that 12.01 @ 111 was his best N/A run, not N2O run; or am I missing something else (like mis-identifiying his car)... Doh!

Oh BTW I understand about the trap speed, I just threw it in there for the differentiation. I am not new to drag racing...

He did say N/A. my bad.
I was about to say that a car with that power level only running a 12 flat with a 111mph trap is horrible

there's plenty of people puttin down 340hp/tq with the mods the op has.....+1 on having 50+ hp. Sounds like a solid race, nice job!

Its called the food chain people. Mach > GT, FBOD > Mach, Termi > FBOD. If you dont like that math, then i suggest you mod.

my car has run a best of 12.01@111 on motor alone. the car made 305rwhp and 345 torque on a mustang dyno on the 91 street tune. it gets 26 mpg if i can keep the foot out of the throttle. my best nitrous pass was an 11.79@126 with a 150 shot

He only ran .2 better with a 150 shot.... im not the only one questioning his n/a times....if it was a mach 1 I would believe it but it is not.

it has a 5 liter stroker, vt heads, comp cams, but it is low compression, whihc is why it only made 305 rwhp on street tune. i built it for a turbo. also the suspension is built for drag racing. lakewood shocks, eibach drag springs, adjustable uppers, lowers, welded torque boxes. everything is built except for the tranny. i do not have the timeslip for it anymore. the 60 foot on that run was i believe a 1.57 best ive ever gotten was a 1.49 with slicks. the 12.02 was with e/t streets and 17s on the front.

on my best nitrous pass, yes it only went 2/10ths faster, but i brokae the differential and a lot of the teeth of the ring and pinion on the launch. it went 11.79@125 and that was with a denstiy altitude of 3500 feet.

its suaully around 1500 feet on a perfect night, but my car is never ready to race on those perfect nights. maybe one day i can hit one of them. the corrected time for that nitrous pass was 11.20@129 i believe but i dont believe in calling out those numbers, becasue thats not what i ran

thanx man, it will go 10s this summer. and if it doesnt, i will be setting up for the direct port and a 200 shot, and that ought to be plenty enough to get me to where i want to be. i have a feeling im gonna break the tranny next though, because its a stock t45 that has a torque rating of 300 ft lbs and doubling that cant be good, plus launching at 7000rpms on slicks. its gotta give eventually. my spare tranny will probably be getting rebuilt with pro motion internals some time late this summer. it has a power rating of over 700 hp and they shift like butter

Since you're in OK I'd definitely suggest Ace racing transmissions in DFW they do excellent work and are very good with their customers.

What a minute you live in OK and you went to Bristol TN for a test and tune? God dang man that's a hell of a drive. I know you didn't say Bristol but that's Thunder Valley which is what your slip says. Unless there's 2 of them.

Edit: Dang there is 2 of them I didn't know that **** was allowed.

What no n/a timeslip?! How convenient, btw not impressed with the 150 shot times. Not impressed with baby bottles anyway, fake hp IMO.

Fake hp? How do you figure? FI is FI. Its no different than a SC or Turbo. I'm actually surprised you'd say something like that since a good 85% of the FI'd LS1's are nitrous assisted. Nitrous get a bad rap cause its a poor mans power adder. But best bang for buck IMO. -Mark

Jesus, you bitch about everything... did you not read where on his nitrous pass he broke his differential ON THE LAUNCH and still ran that time?

You know it is funny but we (the wife and I) do the same thing, throw out everything but the Personal Bests.

Nice car BTW! The wife says (over my shoulder) we could have wall papered the living room with them... Now, I think she may do just that...
