Just to be a tad fair, the Stage 2 SS isn't even close to that of the new Stock SS Cobalt or HHR SS. They went away from the Supercharger to go with Turbo. Can't wait to see what comes of that. Bill Hahn is starting to make some fast SS Cobalt and SS HHR's.

It was a Stupid call out though. LOL

Cobalt SS Stage II has 240 HP.. LOL Bad call from your friend. He should have called you out to the track with corners. Thats probably the only way he could beat you.

Stage 2 SS's are a quick dd but not quick enough to call out and ls1 with your mods. Nice kill. Now he knows what our cars are capable of.

I didn't realize that I thought for sure it would have two injectors per cylinder with that kind of power...

Im not sure why I thought it would be closer. Also im not sure why he told me downpipe, I just posted up the exact words that he told me. After the races he then told me he has "been" looking at this Trans-Am thats near him and wants to ask the guy if he will sell it haha. He was very surprised at the end, thats for sure.

And yeah our set-ups are almost the same, we can compare better at that F-Body cruise labor day weekend

The new turbo cobalts are going to be completely different animals. The Mods are going to have to come up with a name to substitute for them like dumdumdumSS.

Alright let me clear up a few things as there is a lot of bs in this thread.

A: Whats funny about a dp, its a the same damn thing as having a y pipe if you have a 8

B: The 42 lb injectors are needed and are actually maxed with stage two to over 100%duty cycle becuase the tune runs so rich, ie cmd afr is in the low 10's. There is a higher bsfc when your car is s/c. I ran my car to over 300 whp and had 60's with a return style fuel system and had the 60's at 78 psi through the regulator while in boost and my idc's sat at 81%.

C: The cobalt was underrated from the factory its around 240 crank stock and stage 2 is closer to 275 crank.

D: The contract with eaton was a 3 year deal and ended, also emmisions was part in why the lnf is now the engine of choice. Fwiw the new turbo one does around 10 more whp and 50 more wtq over stage2

He said it was dyno'd at 25X WHP, so 275 at the crank is probably correct.

Watchout, if you start saying "balt" too much then the mods are gonna change it to start saying "dumdumdumdumdum".

So, 42lb injectors max out at 250whp in a cobalt? that sucks.

My 42's are going to carry me beyond 500whp with 65lbs of FP.

You wanna put your little "hot wheel" up against mine?

Thats what I thought. Now, you can back to a 4-banger site

You would think he would get it

No one cares how my car performs huh? I think most people on this site do care, and are interested in how LS1 cars perform and how espically how they perform after building the engine. Thats probably why most people in this forum are here.

I'm ignorant now? I guess its common knowledge that a POS cobalt with <275whp has to have 42lb injectors?

Now, that is something that no one on here cares about. If they were concerned with fuel delivery issues on a cobalt, i'm sure they would be ON A DIFFERENT SITE where other people shared the same interest.

You called my car a "hot wheel" thats why I asked if you want to race your pile. If you're going to poke fun at my car, you better have something in your garage that will cash the check your mouth just wrote.

500/8=250/4 you are a smart one!

Wow, just read some more of your for (lack of a better word) silly posts; you are just making yourself look foolish. Stop.

Yes very much so.

I did not call your car a hotwheel if you re-read the post you will see me say you should stick to hotwheels becuase you are very ignorant when it comes to the real thing.
