Got called out by a Stage 2 Cobalt SS Supercharged...results inside
Well last night I went to the movies with my girlfriend and friends, as we are leaving another friend calls me up asking if im up for any racing tonight, I say sure and ask why. He tells me this kid he knows with a Stage 2 Cobalt SS Supercharged wants to race me. The kid with the SS then calls me up, he asks me all what I have done so I tell him im just bolt-ons, then ask him whats done. He tells me:
Stage 2 set-up:
Downpipe
3'' exhaust
42 1/2 lb. injectors
Pullied
Hurst shifter
We then meet up, talk for a little, then head out to this road I know.
We go from a dig at first, I honk. I beat him off the line, we both just slipped the clutch so we woulden't spin bad, and I started pulling like there was no tommorow. At the end of the race (I even let off before the end of the race part of the road) and had about 6 lengths on him. He was shocked when he pulled up, then said lets go from a 40MPH roll. I say sure, get up to 40, and honk...again put about 6 cars on him.
I was really surprised, I thought he was going to be next to me for the most part, with my only winning by a little bit. I didn't expect it to be 6 lengths...well thats my story of last night

Good kill. Those stg 2's are quick for what they are, but mostely just a nice dd, and not all out power. I would put atleast 2-3 cars on my friends, and I'm near stock. Our buddies stg 2 WRX would put 1-3 cars on the SS, and I would pull the WRX, so yea. Again good kill.

Good kill, most kids don't understand the lsx motor and what it is capable of. Stage2 is good for mid to high 13's with some boltons at 103~105 mph, but not close to a car with mods like you.
