Default c6 z06 vs vengeance c5 zo6 vs s2000 vs my 280z

here's a vid we made, the vengeance c5 z06 is the red one, lankhoss is the 2007 c6 z06 who is the camera car. on the c6 z06 it says 505hp but that's not to the wheels. stock they put around 430 to the wheels. Lankhoss has intake, headers, exhaust, and a tune....70rwhp from bpu's, must be nice. my 240z'll be rockin an LSx soon.

that s2k is pretty sick. he said it was stock internals with just headgasket and arp head studs. at 22psi he made 460rwhp which is what i believe he was running. he was pouring 118 in the gas tank lol.

my first run with lankhoss i was at 17psi. which he pulled me up top so i went to 18psi, still he caught back up 40-120 (z06 only has to shift from 2nd to 3rd lol), last run i was at 20psi, but it was breaking up so i had to let out, hence y u see my brake lights. i was doing good that last one too (stupid import eating spark plugs)

with the 3.9 rear end i'd top out 4th @ 120 so i dare not run any vettes passed 120 in my "over drive gear" passed 120 vettes just keep pulling. i wish i could afford an ls7 >_<

good bunch of guys. we did that all in mexico on a giant treadmill of course =] here's the vid

at the shop we do a lot of import **** but since we have garry grimes next door and i can stare in awe at his 2500hp boat motors that are as tall as me, as well as john horny's built twin turbo ls7 that makes 900hp on the engine dyno w/o the turbo's on it. they're converting us to the dark side lol. what can i say.

anyways, s2000's were made for 4 foot tall asian guys....cause if you're any bigger than that, they're a bitch to get in and out of hehe.

i'm finishing up this ls2 swap for a customer and the more i work on it the more i like it. the wacky thing is. what sold him on the swap was gas mileage.

the sales pitch went along the lines of......"in comparison to any of the japanese imported engines, it makes twice the horsepower stock, it'll handle twice as much power twice as reliably as the jap motor, it'll get twice the gas mileage than your turbo 4 cylinder, tons of aftermarket parts, and you can boost it too"

sad part is.....none of that is a lie, let alone exaggerated....so....

here i am lol.

I don't have a problem unless I can't open my door all the way. But then again, I'm only 23. Gotta enjoy being young while I still am

Always thought it meant Boost Pressure Upgrades since I only heard FI import owners use it.

i sold the 280z to a buddy of mine. just got done putting built bottom end in it ( all i had for internals was metal hg and arp head studs lol)

right now i'm gettin the 9 sec cage & drivetrain situated for the Datsun 510, then i may be picking up this built ASA race ls1 motor from garry grimes to put in my widebody 240z (no one's seen this one yet)

i'll probably be up at the g-nut saturday in my buddy's sleeper rb26 240sx.

if you get a chance, come check us out. i'm workin at Lethal Injection Motorsports now. we're right next door to twisted grimes machine shop.

we have a DUAL eddy steady state mustang dyno 1750. it'll hold 2500rwhp, go 250mph, 0-100% load, you can run the 1/4 mile on it. it's accurate within a hundredth of a second. you can launch on the trans-brake and everything. if you need your car tuned, Roy can handle that.

that would be insane to come make a 1/4 mile pass that i actually dont hafta worry about traction and just see what a computer says it would do with like a 1.4 60 lol!
