does anyone have the gm part number for the front and rear bleed screws for an 01 z28?

Yah, there's also Earl's Performance solo bleeders, $9.95 a pair from Summit Racing; part number 280040ERL (10x1.0mm thread, 32mm long). Once you've used a check valve type bleeder, you'll never go back to stock.

i've seen alot of threads talking about how the earls bleeder fail after a few uses.

gmpartsdirect doesn't find any match for part number 18029799.

any ideas?

just go to your autoparts store and they should be able to match one up for you. Just tell them to grab a new caliper off the shelf to check if it threads in.

Probably a result of over tightening. It's important to use never seize & to only tighten just beyond where they seat.
