So what should I do??
Ok well I just got a new car which is completely stock. I'm working on the basic bolt-ons now. But was wondering how I should go on the suspension. The car will be a weekend driver and which will maybe go to the track twice a summer. The roads around here are the winding road course type roads so thats what I want to base my setup on. Wheels are TTII's 17x11 in the rear and I had a problem with them on my last car of rubbing under hard acceleration or if ANYONE set in the back seat. So I'd like to also resolve that.
So far I'm leaning towards KYB AGX adjustable shocks and I was looking at Hotchkis Springs. But I'm not too sure about the springs. So could you guys please help me find a setup that will work for me!
Thanks!

I'm already biased towards koni single adjustables (your best overall ride improvement)and stock springs for now... started at the middle/rear of the '94 Z28 w/ adj ta, ta reloc mount, A4 tranny mount, adj. phb, adj lcas, poly rear endlinks and the aforementioned konis. Trying to get the front done within next 4-5 weeks...

The Konis are not only built better than the kyb's but they have a lifetime warranty as well (KYB doesn't warranty their shocks with lowering springs) and the Konis adjust rebound independently from compression, where the KYB's adjust both at the same time.
Personally if I were you I would buy the konis first, put them and on go from there. You will be more than satisfied(amazed is a better word) with the way your car drives with them.

Not sure if your looking anymore but I got some info before buying my setup.
Kyb agx's with strano springs is the next best thing to konis for the price only draw back is the kyb's are more fragile (made cheaper I guess). Hotchkiss is not a bad spring it lowers and improves handling, strano springs apparently are the **** and I got them for 275 shipped as opposed to 250 plus shipping for the hotchkiss (they will both lower the car about the same).

Koni shocks, period. Lower perch in front and hose mod in back. You'll get a skosh lower but still have a usable back seat (for kids and people you hate). For what you describe, these shocks only should do you fine. IF you need more, I suggest sway bars, then a brake upgrade. Springs will lower you more than you want and without properly matched dampers, you'll hate life. Get the quality dampers and prepare for a better car in all respects with no compromises.
What is your budget? You need to figure this out or everything else is just mental masturbation.

Well I was thinking about 1-2k or so for suspension. This is just what I'm hoping for by spring. Just basic bolt ons and then suspension and then next winter will be the motor build.

Don't bother getting them anywhere else because Sam will walk you through install an setup on the shocks if you buy from him. Give him a call and he will explain the differences between the 4/3 konis and the 4/4 konis (both single adjustable) and you can choose which you want.
