Default This SFC does not look right to me (pics)

I just bought these sfc's and i'm pretty sure there is something wrong with the passenger side one. The bolt for the LCA doesn't fit right since the bolt holes don't line up. These are brand new from UMI by the way.

The first 2 pics is what i'm describing, the last pic is the other normal looking one in my opinion.

One of my UMI SFC's came like that as well. The bolt does not align because the inner bracket piece is twisted relative to the outer bracket that is welded directly to the subframe tubular member. I just bent it back in place, no big deal. I figured it probably happened during shipping since the box mine came in was kind of beat up. When I bent it back a little bit of paint cracked at the weld area so I just touched it up with some paint.

Thought so. I'm in no hurry, but i'm probably not going to deal with sending it back. I'll just have to figure out a way to bend it back without scratching it up too bad. I'm just picky like that.

Its not bent, the plate is welded at the wrong spot, bending it to work will only make it worse. least thats the way it looks from the pics

I'll have to contact the place I bought it from to see what to do. It was drop shipped directly from UMI. As long as I don't have to pay another dime, i'm happy to sent it back and wait.

It might be hard to tell from the pics, but it isn't welded wrong. The plate parallel with the bolt is tweeked. It could be bent back. I've got plenty of other things to worry about right now.

Send it back, you paid good money for a part that was defective, they should be willing to get you fixed up easy.

Hello,

That sucks and I am sorry to see! It looks like it got damaged in shipping... ugh.. I am not sure why UPS/Fed Ex needs to be so rough with packages.

Please send me a PM with your name and the company you bought them from and I can find your order and get you a replacement and a call tag to send that back. We can turn that into Fed Ex as a damaged item.

Let me know and we will get you squared away.

Thank you!
Ryan

Yours does look bent more severely than mine was. Mine was relatively minor and went back easily. No reason to deal with a product that may be compromised.

If you do return it, Ryan with UMI will make things right. I have worked with him in the past with an issue and he was very quick and polite through the entire ordeal. Ryan is the man to go to for any problems you may have with a UMI product.
