Depends how much... Most bolts on a car you don't really need a torque wrench for. How many of us actually use one to tighten our lug nuts?

But, hey, we (including myself!) don't want to be responsible when you grab your 6 foot breaker bar and tighten it as much as you can!

Just get it good and tight with your usual 1/2" ratchet; don't go overboard. If nothing bent, should be fine.

Yeah I agree. I found those numbers from BMR but I didnt use them when I did my setup and I have had no problems. I used the good and tight method.

Every critical fastener I touch on my car is always torqued with a torque wrench. I've got one for 25-250 ft lbs and another for 5 to 100 ft lbs.

BTW, uneven lug nut torque is the number one reason rotors warp. My car has seen countless autocrosses, a bunch of track days and some stupid street driving and I've never ever warped a rotor. Boiled brake fluid, burned the powder coat off a set of pads and even spread calipers, yes, but warp a rotor, never.

ditto, I always use a torque wrench for the lugnuts, 80 first pass, 100 second pass.

Nothing wrong with that, but most people do not and have no problems.
