Default How to tune Koni Adj shocks

Is there a good guide on how to tune Koni Shocks ? All the speed shops I go to say they never even herd of it.

Right now I have the single adj on all 4. There setup the way they came from the factory ( i guess soft setting ). Am I missing out on alot by leaving them like this? Will adjusting them change the stance of the car?

No, adjusting them won't change the stance.
IMO,
If you want your car more planted to the road I would try turning the front up 2 sweeps then drive it for 1 or 2 days to get a feel for it . Then try 2 more sweeps up front, also for a few days, and then if you want try 2 more sweeps. IMO start adjusting them in small increments and eventually you'll get a good idea what shock adjustments you like best. You probably won't want to go any stiffer than 1/2 hard up front for the street.
For the rear you might want to turning them up 2 notches at a time, most people keep the rears in the full soft to 1/4 hard adjustment range.

I agree with the post by 99bluz28.Try to adjust the fronts one sweep at a time then drive the car and get a feel for adjusting the shocks.I ran my rears at full soft and started with the middle setting on the fronts.I went down one sweep at a time to where it was really soft. Then I went up one sweep at a time till the car was too stiff. Then I found the adjustment I liked best. You would be supprised what you can do with adjustments to make the car handle great and ride good.

If you bought them from Stranoparts then give Sam a call, if not check out Konis site:

And yes you are leaving out a lot by leaving the fronts on the softest setting.

For me 4 sweeps from full firm on front and one from full soft on rear is where I like it.

4 sweeps from fulll firm in the front and 1/2 from full soft in the rear (didn't like full soft in the rear, car handles better with my setup at 1/2 turn)

Yes, that´s my impression too, a ratio around 2.3 between front/back seems to give the car a good balance.
