Are your wheels OE Wheels Inc?
Thanks again for the help. Based on my measurements it looks like I only need a .75 inch adapter, not a full inch adapter. Considering the gap on the vette wheels, based on your experience, is there enough gap in the wheels to take an extra .25 inches of wheel studs if I get a .75 in adapter?

Yeah there was another person on this site that mentioned the design of the replica vette wheels having a concave gap like that which allowed the wheel studs to fit.

Even if you do have to pull them out, you should be able to reuse the square cut seals as well as the dust boots as long as you are careful with disassembly.

On The Tree
yeah i think it is close too. i am told that 3mm is an exceptable gap. i don't know for sure though. the wheels are 18"X9.5" C6 replica wheels bought from OE wheels. they advertised the wheels as a 56mm offset but when i got the tires mounted i noticed 58mm stamped on the inside of one of the webs. each wheel has this 58mm stamped on them. i called OE wheels and asked if the 58mm on the wheel was the correct offset or if the 56mm they advertised was. they told me they aren't sure and that 2mm will not make a difference. i told them that for what i was doing with my brakes 2mm makes a HUGE difference!!! also i have the 15mm eibach spacer mounted here also. if you don't want a spacer you'll have to find 18"X9.5" wheels with a 41mm offset. that has to be the exact size, if you go with an 8" rim 41mm offset the caliper still will not fit.
