if you have the spacer you'll have to trim the spacer, if you don't have the spacer then you will have to trim this dumass little flange that sticks out where the stock one was.
both simple and painless with cutoff wheel or sawzall

I would think you'd have to be doing some hard driving to be continually slamming the bumpstops. As I previously stated, I installeed these pieces on my car. I have a '96 Z-28 with the Eibach ProKit springs, and at ride height, I have 2" of space between the bumpstop and the axle. You've got to hit some really big bumps at speed, to compress the suspension 2".
Old Thread but these things work!

if this is considered an "upgrade" because it is shorter and allows more travel, I'll go with that. It just seems to me that when you finally do hit this poly bump stop its going to be a very hard impact. what are your experiences with it?

yeah i don't find that to be an upgrade at all. it is hard enough hitting factory bump stops, i couldn't imagine what kind of neck problems in a lowered car with these things on would ensue.

from direct experience you are wrong.
if it did bother someone they could get really crazy and drill a couple holes through them to soften them up in about 20 seconds
mine don't bother me one bit... i can't tell a difference other than they work correctly
