The only thing that would happen, is the rear would go back up an inch or so, I would say.....

...or you can just do the hose mod on the stock rear springs.

Be a little more rake than you see here, Hotchkiss
(-1") in front and stock w/ hose in back. Pro-kit is
a bit more drop.

With the donut, it'd be Mullet City.

Remove the rubber isolater at the top of the rear springs and then wrap the top coil with a hose. Lowers the rear about 1/2" - 3/4" with no adverse effects.

How big of a tire do you want to run in the rear? I run 315's in the rear and the car sits at 26.75 measured from the ground to the top of the fender opening. Plenty of clearance and no rubbing.

That won't be a problem. I run that exact same size, just make sure you have a while with a 50mm offset (Equal to a 7.5 inch back spacing) and then roll the rear fender lip for clearance.

Then you might have a problem in the back, but not with tire clearance. The cut springs in the rear probably let the car bottom out way too often which adversely affects handling.
