Need some good alignment specs....
Looking for something that won't chew the tires up, but offer the best handling overall. I'll probably road race the car a little next year, but not to much....Throwing some Bilstein HD's on next week and my alignment is trashed from 3 spring swaps....

Assuming stock suspension, except for springs ...
As much neagtive camber as you can muster. Probaly -0.7 or -0.8 degrees.
As much positive caster as you can muster. Probably something just over 4*
Zero toe will make the car walk in the road ruts. 1/16" toe in will help solve that, but will cost you in turn in responsiveness.

Sorry I'm late....
I am running:
-1.3 camber
4.5 castor
1/32nd inch toe out (yes, out)
I just changed my tires at 30,000 miles and the fronts were not to the wear bars (I'll send pics of the tires if you'd like, just tell me where to send them). I never rotate my tires though, I prefer to have "good rubber" on the front. That way the brakes always work in the rain. The right rear was about to the wear bars, the left was mostly gone (torsen) and the fronts were "decent". I suspect they would have gone another 8,000 before they really needed to go. I had about 25,000 of that wear on my alignment settings (listed above) and I drive it to work every day.
Hope that helps.

Eagle RSA (Really Slide Around....or Really Suck A**). Factory rubber. Hated to toss it until it was dead or nearly so. I just bought a cheap set of ZR rated Sumitomo all seasons for the winter (then looking to go to 17" wheels). And, I wound up with snow tires (think "blizzack").

Wimps....
It beats my 3rd gen on bald Eagle VR 50's and an open diff.....
Actually, if a torsen is good for nothing else, they work great in snow. Maybe the almost perfect snow diff....(I got stuck one time last year on a 1/2 worn set of RSA's).
Besides, it is great practice for autocrossing. Learning to work at the limit of adhesion. And that limit is real low.... Think of it as a poor mans track day.
Hey Mitch...when did you guys last see snow?

It was sunny and 73 here today ... Cold snap tomorrow ... high of 55, but warming back into the 60s by the weekend.
Looks like I might go to the race track this weekend to help a relatively new WC team do some shake down runs.
Know of any DECENT crew chiefs?

Right now, I own one car (rare for me)and I'm driving it every day. The Camaro is my driver. I made a 375 mile road trip in it last night on snow rubber through the mountains (driving on snow tires is like running around on 4 flat tires...no feedback). I use those specs on a car that is an absolute daily driver. I've had my car for 19 months and have almost 34,000 miles on it now (I bought it as a new 2002). So, I feel qualified to say that they work just fine (rain, snow and all) on a daily driver. Besides, you'll never look at an exit ramp the same way again.

Most everyone here knows me and my setup. But for anyone who is wondering....
H&R stage 2 springs (647 in bl front, 258 in lb rear)
Koni DA's on both ends
SLP weld in SFC's
BMR (cringe) STB
Trackbird Engineering Aluminum Heim/Heim LCA's and PHB
And the alignment listed above.

One last thing.
Yesterday, I drove 75 miles on snow (nobody had scraped the roads) with no problems at all (it tracks straight and is no trouble to drive). So, I'd guess that qualifies it as a street worthy alignment...
I was the only car that wasn't in the median. Actually, all the SUV drivers were finding out that 4wd works for going, but they still don't stop or turn on ice....oops.
