CTS-V Brake Install complete
This was very easy to do. For $500 total it was well worth it. Feels like a whole new car.
Calipers need to be re painted again. Other than that everything turned out perfect. Now I need to detail the car.

c6 zo6 rotors. yes the mounting holes are the same. no apter brackets needed. just a hardened washer to space the caliper. only thing you have to do to make them fit is have 18 inch wheels. also bought braided lines for the setup. best $500 i have ever spent.

i got mine from e-bay. also you can get them from gm parts direct. approx $135 a side plus pin and hardware kits approx. $32 ea. and you two, one for each side. i just saw a loaded (pins and brake pads) new set go for $335 plus $40 shipping on ebay yesterday. if you want new your gonna pay a little more, and if you want them powder coated you'll pay even more yet. i bought mine with pins minus pads ( i ordered hawk ceramic pads, less dust), and had them powder coated with a "trans am" label on them for $500. i believe josepy paid $500 for his entire set up. i paid a little more than what most guys are paying for their calipers ,but i didn't want to paint them, i wanted them powder coated. anyway you have a lot of options for purchasing a set, you just have to decide what is best for your budget. also don't forget about the Z06 rotors, and brake lines that you have to order, and you may also need a wheel spacer. the brake lines take a little time to get in if ed doesn't have them in stock. if you have any more questions check out the sticky in this forum. wesman02 has a great write up on the install of this upgrade and a comprehensive list of parts and part numbers.
