Default Wheel hop HELL! HELP!

I have my stock 10 bolt with 4.10 gears, BMR LCA, 21mm rear sway bar, Panhard bar is on the way. I have my stock 17inch wheels on my car with Dunlop all seaon tires. My car in NOT lowered.

I am scared to touch my gas pedal in first gear... It is horrible. I can not believe my stock 10-bolt is still alive after some of the wheel hop I have experienced.... I really want to get this resolved. What else can I try?

Do LCA relocation brackets make any sense for a stock height car?

I'd definatly try some LCA relocation brackets. They're a lot cheaper then you're next alternative...a torque arm.

LCA Relocation's will help, if that's not enough then a Torque Arm will solve the rest.

Heres a check on the LCA's when the car is sitting on the grond from front of car ro rear of car do they point downwards or are they level? If they are level than Relocations will help.

I'm definitely going to give the LCA relocationn brackets a try first. The price of the torque arm is certainly a little steep. Anyone recommend a good (but not too expensive!) one if I have to go that route?

Thanks for the advice guys. I can't wait to actually be able to hit my gas again in a low gear!

I have my shiney new BMR relocation brackets sitting in my garage waiting to be installed, but the friggin' weather in NY has been horrible the last few weeks I can't wait to see it they will help. If not I guess I will go with an adjustable torque arm. It looks like sphoon will be the way to go.

Thanks for all the help. Now if it will just stop snowing, and maybe the temp could go above freezing for at least an hour!!!

Since you're not lowered, I suggest going with the Edelbrock Torque Arm. You can get it for about $178 shipped from Summit or Jegs. That's the cheapest one I've seen new... it's non-adjustable, but that won't matter on a non-lowered car.

That price sounds great! So does the Edelbrock Torque arm have a different set angle than stock, or is it just beefier?

Thanks.

As far as I know, it's a straight stock replacement... same pinion angle and everything. Just lighter in weight, and more stout to prevent flex. It's a good piece if you don't need an adjustable one.
