Wheelhop is a big contributor to axle failure, since it causes rapid shock loading and unloading, which makes things break.

Aftermarket LCAs and LCA relocation brackets go a long way towards eliminating it on an f-body.

LCA brackets, good one's at least, need to be welded on. Couple hour job no biggie. Wheel hop=death to driveline. Can tear up all sorts of ****. As stated LCA's, LCA lowering brackets, shocks, and T/A can all help with wheel hop. Alot of people get away with just LCA brackets.

I put on aftermarket LCA's and relocation brackets, still had wheel hop.. Installed chassis mount TA and said goodbye to wheel hop.. Hopefully you can get away with just LCA relocation brackets..

Are you just as likely to get wheel hop powering hard around a corner/U-turn as you would in a straight line? The first time I felt what I think was wheel hop was the former.

A torque arm solved my wheel hop issues. The reason so many of the newer cars have wheel hop so bad is because they have IRS instead of a solid axle

I used to get it powering out of a corner. Never really had it at the track or straight line. I was lucky and LCA brackets solved it for me, although a T/A and a whole bunch of other goodies are on the list for this Winter.
