Default Heater hose Mod BAD?!

Well i pulled my car off the road about a week ago due to a metal on metal scraping and vibration, could not figure out what the hell it could be, emptied the pumpkin checked tires, gears, barings, everything i could possibly think of until just now i checked the drive shaft, apparently its scraping on a braket above the drive shaft hold fuel lines or brake lines. anyone else had this issue?!
pictures coming now

Can't really tell from the pics, but my driveshaft (and others I've seen pictures of) have similar scoring near the rear u-joint. That sort of looks like the e-brake bracket.

I doubt doing the heater hose mod caused that....guys run around with drop springs and the hose mod and don't have problems. Are the bumpstop perches on the axle worn clean, like you've been hitting the stops a lot?

with the car on jack stands it makes 0 noise what so every the DS doesnt look bent in anyway, so it only happens wit hthe suspension loaded, i think it has to be the culpret, but would the springs/heater hose mod cause this or should i be lookin elsewhere?

There is the problem..... no bumpstops, the axle is traveling too far...it's not the ride height, it is about how far the axle moves and it takes with the driveshaft with it.

I'll check the wear mark on my driveshaft when I get home - stock shocks and springs without the heater hose mod.

I'd keep looking, though. Long shot, but it could be u-joints going bad - they normally click, but that could account for the vibration.

Check your torque arm bushing and the clamp. My friends bushing was shot and his torque arm cracked and almost completely grinded of the e-brake cables and bracket.
