Default BMR Springs and Bilstein HD Shocks installed

Got some work done to the car this month.

BMR 1.25" Lowering Springs
Bilstein HD Shocks
Nitto 555's, 275/40/17 all 4 corners

OLD ride height with Stock Set Up

NEW ride height with the listed parts

We are getting a knock comming from the front passenger shock tower while hitting even mild bumps. Everything was installed back together nice and tight. After the install we pulled the wheel back off and double checked everything and found nothing loose. Any idea why just the passenger side would be doing this?

I think the top nut on the shock assembly can cause noise issues, I'm assuming you checked that as well?

check the motor mount, with the decarbons didnt really notice it, but with the stiffer konis i kept on getting a weird clunking sound. just an idea, either that or its the top nut not tightened down enough

Car looks great!!!!

I would look toward the top strut mount nut as the culprit on the extra noise.....

Take the front assembly off, compress the spring again and tighten the nut more. When I put the Bilstein HDs and Hotchkiss springs on my car, I had the same issue, it just wasnt tight enough.

It's a shock mount guys, not a strut mount. 4th gen's don't use struts......

I will definitely be looking into this in the spring, I have had a nasty noise going over bumps for a couple years now and found nothing out of the ordinary. Thanks for bringing it up.

Stance looks awesome. Seems like the BMR springs give our cars the best drop that Ive seen.
