Hooking on the street...
The tires are wore out bfg DR's on the back, and my car eats them off with 30lbs of air in the tires.. Good thing I have a new set of Mickey thomspons coming today as well..
It's cold and the roads are terrible to be honest.. But I was wondering if these new parts and tires are gna help me any?.. Also I'm getting a torq arm within the next week..
Is it just the cold, or is it my setup.. Car has stock converter also..
Point is I was just amazed how terribly bad it spun with the new wheels, any advice on gaining traction would be great.. Thanks Aaron
cold will affect the car alot..
I'll bump the air pressure down a little at a time when the track opens.
Btw before April the car will have a ss3600, 9in, and tune at least. I just wanna make sure it hooks when I'm done with the setup.
if you run mickeys i would try 18-24 psi and just play with it to see what works best.
I'm really set on putting all my power to the ground and launching as hard as I can. And I know if I can dead hook my car on the street then it's going to be hard to catch especially with the stall.
Guess I'll be ordering me some shocks now.. What would u consider for front and back shock/spring setup? I've heard that just v6 springs can do alot but idk..
and yes, dead hooking > roll queens.
