Same thing I was thinking. Ebay is good for "non-critical" stuff like appearance mods, but I'm a little hesitant when it comes to stuff like brakes, bearing, internal engine, and safety-related items.

If I had a lot of money invested in my car, I'd go to Rock Auto and go for a name brand Timken or SKF. (They are durable brands and supply OEMs.) Hubs are a single point of failure; if they brake, you could loose a wheel as you are going down the road, etc.

Try again. 275 will get you 2 Timkens. I think there is a Raybestos for less.

Ah - They have them in two places. Look under "Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly" and you'll see the non-Delco replacements. (Odds are the Delco is one of these in a different box.)

FYI, there are absolutely NO aftermarket hubs that are as good as original equipment. thats including delco. for normal driving, quality aftermarket ones should last long enough. but if you ever do any kind of racing, especially with slicks, youll wear out hubs in no time. stock, original hubs can last quite a while, but any aftermarket will start to fail in half a season.

ive been buying used hubs off parts cars as replacements, instead of aftermarket. if you feel like blowing $1200, someone makes rebuildable hubs, but thats just ridiculous.
