What is the better brand that lasts and will not crack for a 02 trans am?
I am looking for a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors that are coated so that they sont look rusted within a few days.
Thanks for the help

In all honesty, all drilled rotors will eventually crack..
Frozen Rotors seem to be of the longer lasting sort that I have seen though..
IMO though, I would stick to slots only.. Especially if your going to be driving the car hard even semi-regularaly..

Try out Brakemotives stuff. For the price its worth a try, I bought a set to test out. If they take a dump I still spent less than replacing it with Wagnor blanks & I'll chalk it up to a learning experience. If they last though, they will prove a money saving alternative. So far I havent seen any negative feedback on them.

Even the expensive Brembo drilled slotted rotors crack. If I were you I wouldn't worry about that part and worry more about the preventing rust coating. Either that or go with good blanks or slotted rotors.

I bought a kit on eBay( I know, I know) that all rotors and pads for $170. That was over a year, and almost 18k miles ago. Zero issues so far. I got the kit after my buddy had the same kit on his 02 SS for about 6 months with no problems. Can't remember the company or brand name, but I would def buy them again.

I have never had a set of drilled and slotted rotors crack on me...ever, and I've driven everythgin from drag to autocross, never an issue. I dont know what people do to cause that to happen. or i may have just gotten really really lucky for the las 10+ years.
