Default bolt or weld in cage?

i was wondering what everyone had and what is the diff (besides the welding) between the bolt in and weld in... is it better to weld in than bolt on?? i was also wondering, i may not want the cage after a while and/or sell the car, how would i take the welded one out?? just barely take it in place or is it just stayin there?? thanks for the help guys

and i dont know what im gonna run with the new set-up, i have zero passes, but hopefully low 11's for now

I would think the Welded roll cage would be much such stronger, also meaning much harderd to remove.

I don't have any experience with them, but when I do need to get one it will be welded. I think it would make for much better support.

I would imagine you would have to cut out a welded cage with either a torch or a grinder which will probably make a mess of the car and cage.IMO. If you want it permanent and strong go with a welded cage. If for some reason will need to take the cage in and out of the car go with the bolt in.

Yes makes a real mess of the car, can save the cage with a lil work. I look at it like this, If at 120+ i crash and roll would I rather have a few bolts holding together my protection, or have my protection permanatly attached to my transportation. I have seen more good bolts brake then good welds. My vote is for weld in.

You can get low bars for the doors that tuck almost to the floor. Or you can get swing outs.

The swing outs are probably the best bet, I plan on doing an 8 or 10pt in the future with some swing-out bars......
