Default Spohn T/A - Broke..

Broke my T/A leaving my freaking house and cost me my driveshaft too... Love spohn products just hope they back this one up had it less that a year with no track passes on this current setup either....

no not cool at all! glad it didnt do to much damage under the car where the pinion snapped up and the t/a housing where it bolts to rear-end slammed into the driveshaft tunnel on the cars underbody

That has to be a manufacturer issue there. I've had my Spohn in for 3 years now off the transbrake and slicks and not so much as a wimper from it. Is that an aluminum drive shaft? It looks stock to me.

Rule of thumb is that a weld or connection point should be stronger than the rest of the arm. Pulling out like that tells me there had to be some sort of manufacturing issue. I'm sure they'll help you out with a fix.

Call Spohn. If it was a defect they will take care of it. I would have called them befor making this post tho...

Called spohn and there sending me out a new one since pictures I sent showed it was a defect. Great people to work with!

i would be demanding a new driveshaft too... and refund for damages to the car. that could have caused a wreck...
