Default Squeaky Rear Suspension

When getting in and out of the car, I am getting loud squeaky suspension noise coming from rear of the car (and I am only 190 lbs if anything is thinking I'm a fatass haha). If I stand up on the door sill and jump up and down, it gets extremely loud. I've checked everything and ensured all suspension is tight and to factory spec. Car is lowered on BMR springs, with MWC 9'' rear, long torque arm and Poly End LCAs. Springs are SLP Bilsteins which came on the car. Bad shocks maybe?

Creaking and groaning sounds from the suspension is generally blamed on worn out shocks.

How many miles are on the stock shocks? I had similar sounds with my car when I bought it; i replaced the stock shocks and springs with new Bilstein HDs and BMR Springs. The creaking and groaning sounds stopped after that.

So yes, when your F-Body starts to sound like a old wooden pirate ship....it may be time for new shocks.

Thanks bro! The more I think about it, all suspension has been changed except for the rear shocks so I think they are time to go. Gonna get some single adjustable Koni's

Have you tried regreasing all the poly bushings? Also check the rear sway bar bushings many times the stock ones will start to squeak over bumps and what not.

Sway bar and Panhard squeaked on mine after a few
years. Bit of graphite loaded grease fixed it right up.

My rear sounds terrible as well.....I have LCAs with poly as well. synthetic grease and tight still squeaks. Maybe I need to look at the sway bar links?

1 thing to check brother is your hatch. I went through the whole rear suspension on my last car because of a squeak and it turned out to be a piece of plastic on the rear hatch. BTW thanks for calling me......
