more front strut issues
So, I am still having issues with the rubber being rushed out of my lower strut mounts. What is a strut that I could use that has a poly bushing instead of a rubber one? Also, what keeps causing this to happen???

These cars don't have struts. I know they might resemble a strut, but they are technically still not a strut.
But what part are you talking about? there are no rubber lower mounts, the shock bolts directly to the lower control arm. The only rubber mount is on top.

OMG, well, I guess that it is the bottom of the front shocks. The part that mounts onto the a arm. Well, the part that actually mounts to the a arm has rubber in it that is pushing out. When this happens, it makes the car squeek!!

Here is the picture. You can see how the rubber has bulged out and has actually split. This has happened on both sides and this is my 3rd set of struts. Each one has done the exact same thing. The white stuff is some grease that I sprayed to stop the squeeking. The squeeking is coming from this!!!

Wow, I've never seen this even with an OEM shock. haha Monroe is actually a very good company and they catch a lot of flack simply because they sell OEM replacement stuff at NAPA and AutoZone type stores. (Many cars come from the factory with Monroe) With performance cars like we own, I recommend performance parts. Stick with performance brands and they will most likely last longer. I haven't seen any problems with Bilsteins and Konis.
To identify your problem, we should first look at how they're installed. If it continues to happen to the same shock in the same way, there could be another problem with the car or how it's installed. Check your A-Arm bushings and make sure they're not worn out. Do your tires wear excessively? It could simply be a problem with the shocks since they really can only install one way but that bushing crumbling like that would lead me to believe there is lateral movement in the suspension.

^^^Thanks for the reply BMR! The bushings look good. That was the first thing that I checked. The tires wear very eveningly and they do not wear excessively. Both shocks on the front does this. So, it might just lead me to believe that it is the type of shacks that I am using.
