Thumbs up Bmr springs w/ bilstien hd's, rpm black zinc rotors

So i recently put on new bmr lowering springs and the bilstien hd's...and rpm speed black zinc dimpled and slotted rotors and ebc red stuff pads on all 4 corners

all in all it went well the front set up was kinda pain in the *** for the shocks and springs had some rust build up. Moving on to the breaks front was good after i figured out what i was doing for a first time job. But once i got to the back and was beating off the rear passenger rotor i noticed after it was pulled of the lug nut bolts, this side was unlike the other side i had a gap and a gear was exposed not sure if thats normal or not it all went back on it just seemed to fit tighter "less turns on the lug nuts tighter"

HERE ARE THE PICS

THE LAST 3 PICS ARE AFTER THE INSTALL AND THE DROP

After searching I believe those are the standard 97-99 corvette wheels. The magnesium wheels look different than those.

Yea I looked them up too those rims look good on the red 99 vette. But make my car look more stock.

CONSIDERING SLEEPING STOCK PARTS.

front/rear springs- stock
rear rotors an pads- stock
rear shocks- stock
Front shocks pads an rotors were junk

its not a bad set up the rear end tucked real nice it doped a good 2 inches if not almost 3. it took away allot of the wheel gap in front an rear the front end i dont notice as much of a difference but 1-1.5 inch drop the stance is a little flat to me. id like the rear end a little bit higher i think or the front end a lil lower maybe. the breaks are nice allot smoother and way better then my stock pads rotors.. after having it all on i notice a smother ride but the bumps are still real stiff i bottom out on speed bumps a little to low.

MORE PICS TOMORROW

i here an adjustable pan hard bar is necessary after lowering springs to center the rear axle under the cars chasi.

next step lower control arms and sub frame connectors. anybody selling any umi or bmr parts

Another thing you should get are new set of rear bump stops. Your's are toast. When you install them you can get rid of the aluminum spacer that sits in between the bump stop and the body. That will get you back some travel in the rear suspension.

This panhard bar should offer you plenty of articulation with out binding up.

UMI Performance On Car Adjustable Panhard w/Roto-Joint

It's a shame Founder's doesn't make a double poly swivel joint adjustable phb. That has some potential, and it's one of the few times I'll admit poly used in that design has some potential.

The bump stops you can get at local parts stores. It's an Energy Suspension Bump Stop Part number 9-9137G.

Car looks much better man, definitely get some new wheels! Idk if these are your style or not, but I have a full set of chrome ZR1's that would look good on a dark car like yours if you're interested (pm me).

But how much did handling improve with the new shocks/springs? I have the exact same setup, brand new bilstein hd's and BMR 1.25" springs to put in. I got the rears in but haven't driven the car yet to settle them. The drop doesn't look like much at all.. I left the isolators on, and again I didn't drive it to settle it so I'm hoping it will come down more. If not I'll do the heater hose mod.

Did you leave your isolators in the rear or do the heater hose mod? Hows the handling?

How much were the rotors? I like the black hub, mine is a nasty silver/gray looking color.
