There are no bolt on parts that will make your car handle "like a 911." The rear engine setup in the 911 allows for perfect DYNAMIC front/rear weight distribution, which is different than static distribution because the car is in the turn and driving when dynamic distribution is measured. This perfect weight distribution cannot be achieved in the camaro without massive modification to the location of the transmission and engine.

That being said, some Koni shocks and hollow sway bars would probably do nicely.

I did. That's leaving the pits, on stone cold R6 Hoosiers (not the softer A6 we autocross on.. and now most Club Racers road race on too). I left the moment in the video on purpose to show that A. I don't screw around and B. the car was still controllable and that you never see that happen again despite hopping curbs, etc.

The weight distribution of a 911 isn't perfect, far from it. It's great for getting power down, but that rear bias is what makes them very prone to lift throttle oversteer. They've tamed that hugely with new geometries, bigger rear wheels, more front spring, etc. etc. But it's not perfect. This is why you often see GT cars in ALMS or Grand-Am wearing rear tires more quickly than the competition.

It is so early in the video it is hard to tell if that is under braking or not. Seems like it at a glance.

No, not on the brakes.. You don't want to be braking that deep in a corner.

I have a a small vid of trying to best a GT3. depending on the driver I do best a few and get bested myself. Does my car handle like a Porsche, nope. It doesn't even come close to it. But it handles quite well.
The GT3 , 350Z, and Opel speedster were on pilot sport cups. I was on RA1 TOYOS.
THe speedster was a serious momentum car.

True. Just seemed to early in the corner for power on oversteer.

Wasn't power oversteer either. It was just stone cold race tires, a lack of grip, and a bump... That video starts from the exit of pit lane and the moment you see is 5 seconds later.

In fact if you watch my right leg you can see I had hit the brakes, and come off already, but not to the throttle yet.

I forgot about this video.... It's a friend/customer of mine in his WS6... Setup similarly as my Camaro minus the Watts link.

I think you might like this because most of the video is him following me on the very same run you saw earlier in this thread from my in-car. Now you get another perspective of how my car works, and see that I'm really a lot closer to the GT3 than it looks like from my wide-angle camera.

I'd like to know what goes through those guys minds when an "American" (outside of a viper/vette) car keeps up with their European counterpart.
